Day 1
Spend the day visiting the Thousand Hills – Phezulu Safari Park
09h00    Transfer to the Valley of the Thousand Hills
10h00    Phezulu Safari Park
Experience traditional Zulu Culture and Customs and enjoy the grace and energy of the Zulu dancers.
11h30    Transfer to Southern Drakensberg
14h30    Arrive and check in at Drakensberg Gardens.

Day 2
Spend the day visiting Lesotho via Sani Pass
07h00    Breakfast and check out
08h00    Depart for Sani Pass experience.
The Sani Pass is a spectacular mountain road and the only vehicle route over the Drakensberg escarpwment and into the mountain Kingdom of Lesotho. It is the gateway to the “Root of Africa” scenic route that links the spectacular scenery of the Drakensberg with the mountains of Northern Lesotho. Proceed to Mokhotlong Village to get a feel for the unique way of life of the Basotho people.
NB: Passports required / Visas required for some nationalities
13h00    Ascend the mountain and transfer to a KZN Midlanda Hotel
17h00    Arrival and check in at – Kleinbosch Cottage
Set on a working farm in the beautiful Mount West region in the heart of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, it is ideally situated on the Midlands Meander
19h00    Enjoy dinner at the hotel with Wine Tasting

Day 3
Spend the day visiting the Nelson Mandela Site and the Karkloof Canopy Tours
08h00    After breakfast and check out – Depart for the Nelson Mandela Capture Site

This is a place in the history of South Africa, which has enormous significance because its where Nelson Mandela long walk to freedom was interrupted for 27 years on the R103, the old main road 5km from Howick, where he was “captured” on his return journey to Johannesburg.
09h30    Transfer to the Karkloof Canopy Tours
10h00    Karkloof Canopy Tours
Experience a canopy tour built in a spectacular valley of the Karkloof Forest Reserve designed for the more adventurous nature lover with slides of up to 180 metres long, stops below 15 metre waterfall and takes in wider views across the beautiful Karkloof Valley.
This comes with a light snack after the tour.
